Why Positive Reinforcement?
Positive reinforcement training uses a reward (treats, praise, toys, anything the dog finds rewarding) for desired behaviors. Because the reward makes them more likely to repeat the behavior, positive reinforcement is one of your most powerful tools for shaping or changing your dog's behavior
Get your dog started on the right paw with this basic obedience class! Learn a reliable sit, stay, down, heel on lead, and recall. This class gives you all the tools needed to start your dog off with a great foundation.
Canine Good Citizen
CGC is a ten-skill training program that's open to all dogs-purebred or mixed breed-that focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community.
Dog Show Prep
This is where champions are made! This class goes over confirmation training, ring handling, and show dog preparation. Learn from our trainer who has helped many people and dogs become champions!
Rally Obedience Foundations
Want to take your training to the next level? Test you and your dogs training in this Rally Obedience Foundations class! In this class, the dog and their handler will learn the foundation work it takes to teach the correct prerequisites needed to confidently move on to a Novice Rally course! This class covers foot placement, rear end awareness, pivots, and much more!
K9 nose work is a growing sport. It is a lot of fun teaching your dog to do something the do naturally. It is a great bonding experience and fun for dogs of all breeds and age ranges.
Casper Elite K9 trainers promote and utilize positive reinforcement reward-based training methods used to build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your dog. We are focused on not only training your dog but teaching you as the owner how to best communicate with your dog; without using fear, submission, or intimidation.
We provide a wide range of both private and group classes to fit your specific needs. Our trainers will provide you and your dog with the tools needed to achieve your goals. We welcome questions and encourage updates, by email or phone.
I grew up working with dogs and have a real passion for training. I have been working with people and their dogs since 2008. What I enjoy most is helping people make a connection with their dogs. There is nothing better then the smile on someone's face the first time the dog does what they are asked.

A little over three years ago I was adopted by a crazy little border collie. Her intelligence, as well as some reactivity issues, really got me interested in dog training as well as sports. Canine behavior fascinates me and I have truly fallen in love with the communication behind dog training. I have enjoyed earning multiple CGC and trick dog titles with my dog, as well as competing in scent work. I also just love to work with dogs for the love of dogs. My background is in special education and my passion has become making dog training and dog sports more accessible for people with disabilities. I am excited about helping people adapt and overcome obstacles to train a well behaved and potentially helpful companion for themselves.
